Separated manure used as bedding material

This customer uses a press screw separator from Stallkamp and uses the separated manure as bedding material instead of straw and chalk. The machine in use is a mobile unit small that has a 5,5 kW drive motor. The screen has a length of 550 mm. Additionally, the unit comprises of a Stallkamp rotary lobe pump (4 kW) in order to feed the separator.

"The cows feel more comfortable with the new bedding material. I know because they are resting longer in the material than before in the straw" says the customer from Bavaria.
